Art & Stewardship

Invited by Two Rivers Gallery in Northern BC, I curated a creative workshop for the Prince George community in October 2023. My artwork, “Plasticosis,” featured in the current group exhibition “NONRETURNABLES,” inspired the workshop’s theme: cyanotypes on textiles—the very process behind my exhibited work. We began with an overview of the exhibition and deconstructed my installation. Then, we ventured into a local nature park, gathering fallen items as unconventional subjects. Returning to the gallery’s upper-level sculpture garden, we meticulously prepared compositional layouts for the final exposures. For four blissful hours, we immersed ourselves in creating art outdoors, forging new bonds and reconnecting with nature.

A heartfelt thank you to Two Rivers Gallery for this enchanting day of creativity with the local community in Northern B.C.
