UPDATE - this workshop is full & waitlisted
This session will include a guided walk through the nature park with a site naturalist, to learn more about the life- cycle of the bog ecosystem in relation to the seasonal changes in flora/fauna during Spring. The photography segment will encourage participants to use photographic capture to express their individual ideas of, or connection to, the found subject matter.
Creative aperture control (for more advanced photographers) and compositional techniques (for beginners), will be the technical focus during this segment. Breakout groups will be established and participants will be invited to explore creative uses of depth of field with natural lighting. We will conclude the session with group sharing and the invitation to submit up to 3 images via email for inclusion in the collaged, legacy artwork, as well as imagery to be printed as transparencies for the next workshop if participants choose.
