Multi-phase commercial commission to create custom artwork and murals for the new Modern Niagara headquarters of Western Canada (in North Vancouver,BC).
Phase One:
Three building-scale murals celebrating North Vancouver’s geography; including a local rainforest (16’w x 9’h), alpine meadows (14.4’w x 9’h) and a Vancouver skyline (20.5’w x 9’h) branded with the corporation’s colour scheme and core values (produced on vinyl with additional 3D custom-cut lettering)
Phase Two:
Two boardrooms with large-scale artwork installs.
The architectural artwork is a concept envisioned to highlight the client’s portfolio within a unique layout.
I photographed selected projects (UBC Pharmaceuticals, RCMP Headquarters and the MEC Head Office) and bordered the artworks with detailed angles I captured in the operational mechanical room of Simon Fraser University.
Total dimensions for this artwork are 170”w x 100”h with the compositions produced directly onto an aluminum substrate.
The second room features a 70”w x 48”h photographic artwork of Sky Pilot mountain, corresponding with the theme of phase 1 (also on an aluminum substrate).
